My students were fantastic last weekend. Vasilia placed 1st in the open gold scholarship. Elisabeth 2nd in bronze and Diana 3rd in bronze. Stefanie, my youngest student, placed first in all of her single dances. Congratulations :))) -Werner

Congratulations to all of our students from the Ailey Extension Workshop who performed this weekend at the Kat Wildish Showcase! We enjoyed teaching you all and watching you blossom on stage! Each performance was better than the last and the closing night performance was fantastic!!!!! There are some photos below, but more photos can be found at Kat Wildish's Photobucket. This past weekend, Vasilia and Werner competed at Yankee Classic in Open Bronze, Open Silver and Open Gold. Vasilia placed first in ALL of her dances for Open Bronze and Open Silver and she placed 2nd in Cha Cha and Jive and 3rd in Samba and Rumba! Congratulations Vasilia!!! We are very proud of you. :)

Just got an interesting email from a contact of Kat Wildish that the Grishko NYC store has just introduced a new line of ballroom, latin and tango dance shoes by Rummos, a company based in Portugal. It will be interesting to try these shoes and see how they compare with the current front runners of ballroom dance shoes.
Congratulations to Ying and Sony who both performed on Friday!!! Fantastic job by each. :) Check out the videos of their dances! Congratulations to Sony for placing 1st in all of his dances at his 1st Pro-Am competition with Shimkiri!!! He's a champion in the making ;)
